Kristin Fisher is joining CNN in 2021. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent she is responsible for covering all aspects of space, from NASA as well as the new Space Force, to commercial space firms and the emergence to space tourism. Kristin's parents were each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now employed as a White House reporter for FOX News, covering both the Biden and Trump administrations in space matters. The reporter also reported on the presidential election in 2020 and the efforts of two administrations to combat the coronavirus. She also traveled extensively with the President and Vice President, including a top secret trip to Afghanistan with former President Donald Trump. Kristin was a local television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded the Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter, before becoming a reporter for CBS in 2015. Kristin's expertise as a camerawoman led her to found Field Mouse Films which specialized making documentary-style videos for corporate customers such as Uber Hotels & Resorts, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin graduated with a Bachelors of Science of Journalism at Boston University. She lives with her husband and their two children in Washington, D.C., and is the mother of a 3-year-old daughter.
